A new user-friendly website for DFD improves user-experience.
DFD (Danish: De Forenede Dampvaskerier) has a new user-friendly website which expresses the professionalism and portfolio the company delivers. The website is user-friendly and makes it easier for customers to find the information they are looking for.
The site was developed by Blue Dock in close cooperation with DFD and is based on SharePoint 2013.
The entire website was developed with a focus on the visuel aspect. On the website is a mega menu, which is accessible on the entire website. This makes it easy for customers to navigate on the website so they can quickly find the information they seek.
Furthermore, the design is clean, inviting and consistent all the way through. This increases the user-friendliness and improves the user-experience. In the bottom of the website you will find the same menu throughout the entire page. Here the titles are specific for the subjacent page. This provides the reader with a quick overview of the contents.
Who are De Forenede Dampvaskerier?
De Forenede Dampvaskerier has existed since 1958. Today they are one of Denmarks biggest service companies in the industry of laundry and renting of textiles. It was founded by the Thorgaard family and is still owned by them. The company has more than 20 sites throughout Scandinavia and approx. 2000 employees.
